Al Azhar Grand Imam Ahmed el Tayyeb will leave Monday for the UAE, leading a high-level delegation, to attend the 2nd Annual Forum for Promoting Peace in Muslim Societies Conference.

Tayyeb will deliver an address at the event, which kicks off Tuesday, in Abu Dhabi in the presence of 350 Muslim leaders from around the world.

His accompanying delegation includes Grand Mufti Shawqi Allam and Awqaf Minister Mohamed Mokhtar Gomaa.
