Caesars Palace during CinemaCon

Following a Comic-Con release, Twentieth-Century Fox and Marvel have released an extended Fantastic Four trailer.

The extended trailer, which shows a lot more action and fighting, gives a glimpse of Dr. Reeds Richard as a young boy, and the beginning of the Fantastic Four's archnemisis Dr. Doom.

The trailer, which packs a lot of action into 2 minutes and 46 seconds, doesn't reveal much outside of Dr. Richards story and the government's involvement with the team of superheroes.
Entertainment Weekly reports the trailer teases what is a "huge, multipower, slug-fest," which according to director Josh Trank said fans should expect of the film.

While the trailer is very vague in the plot line, Forbes reports Dr. Doom's character has changed from his original conception of being a blogger to being the cloaked villain fans have gotten to know.

Fantastic Four is set to be released August 7.
