Author Lissa Marie Niederer shares God’s message of hope and love in her new Christian romance novel, “The Sky We Walk Upon” (published by WestBow Press). Hannah Mackenzie has never had much use for faith or religion. Her emotionally unavailable mother and ignorant man of her dreams haven’t given her much hope for her love life or any reason to believe in God. When Hannah pursues a path outside of her comfort zone, she finds that she must learn to rely on and trust others even if it means risking her heart once more. Through strength and courage, Hannah learns to love once more and finally open her eyes to God’s work in her life. Niederer crafts well-rounded characters that seek to emulate the struggles of modern Christians. Rather than create what she calls “cookie cutter” characters, Niederer gives them flaws that readers may find relatable. “‘The Sky We Walk Upon’ does not shy away from topics that may be considered taboo in other genres of Christian fiction,” Niederer promises. “It is not graphic by any means and does not glorify sinful behaviors, but does touch upon the fact that leading a life of faith does not guarantee us an easy road.” Source: PRWEB
