As many as 1,090 tourists of different nationalities visited Saint Catherine city over the past 24 hours, said head of Saint Catherine Municipality El Sayed Abdel Sadeq on Saturday. 

The figure includes 40 foreigners and 1,050 Egyptians.

Their tours, he added, included Saint Catherine's Monastery, Mount Sinai, Bedouin camps and several other religious and archaeological sites.
