Hundreds of tourists of different nationalities visited South Sinai cities of Dahab and Saint Catherine over the past 24 hours.
As many as 887 tourists, including 326 foreigners and 561 Egyptians, arrived in Dahab city, head of Dahab Municipality Tareq Lotfy said on Saturday.
They visited several tourist attractions in the city and went on Safari in Wadi Qena and Al Twailat villages, he said.
Also, they toured nature reserves in Abo Jalom and Blue Lagoon villages, Lotfy noted.
Meanwhile, 252 tourists, including 197 foreigners and 55 Egyptians, visited Saint Catherine city over the past 24 hours, said head of Saint Catherine Municipality El Sayed Abdel Sadeq.
Their tours included Saint Catherine's Monastery, Mount Sinai, Bedouin camps in addition to several other religious and archaeological sites.
