An attempted copper-cable robbery in the town of Moncalieri in northern Italy delayed railway traffic at the Turin junction for almost 17 hours on Thursday and Friday. Trains were delayed from 20:45 on Thursday to 13.30 on Friday. There were 130 trains involved in the disruption, which led to 18 cancellations. Italys Ferrovie dello Stato state railroad said more than 80 cables were damaged.
