As many as 1,450 tourists of different nationalities visited Abu Simbel City in southern Aswan this week, head of Abu Simbel antiquities department Hossam Aboud said Friday.

The tourists, mainly from China, Germany, France and Spain, visited the temples of Ramses II and Nefertari, he added.

Aboud said that 225 tourists arrived in the city on Friday.
