A total of 155 German tourists arrived here Thursday on a charter flight to Luxor.

The tourists are to visit the tourist sites and monuments across the ancient city.

Three more charter flights are scheduled to arrive today, said Bakhit Khairi Hassan the director of public relations and media department at Luxor airport. 

The flights are coming from the German international airports of Düsseldorf, Frankfurt and Schönefeld, carrying about 450 German tourists on board, he added.
