Two F-16 fighter jets crashed in Georgia of the US, Fox News reported.

The South Carolina Air National Guard said in a statement that the pilots of the single-seat aircraft ejected safely after a mid-air collision during routine night-flying operations in Jefferson County.

Officials said there were no injuries reported on the ground.

The pilots were not immediately identified.
