The number of visitors to Luxor's archaeological areas reached 2,420 in two days, said Chief of Upper Egypt's Historic Areas Mostafa Waziri in statements on Tuesday.

Waziri clarified that 1120 tourists visited tombs, temples and museums on Monday, while the visitors of these areas on Tuesday reached 1300.

The tourists are of different nationalities, he noted.
