Three ferries were allocated for carrying Egyptian workers back to the Gulf region after spending the Eid vacation with their families, Spokesman for Red Sea Ports Authority Abdel Rahim Mostafa said in a statement Thursday.

The Safaga harbor is on high alert to carry Egyptian workers travelling to Gulf states through the three ferries, he added.

The authority has coordinated with the bodies concerned at the port to provide all necessary facilities and remove all obstacles that might face the Egyptian workers, according to Abdel Rahim Mostafa.
