As many as 500 tourists of different nationalities visited the Dandara temple in Qena during the past week.

Most of the tourists are from Russia, Britain, Spain and Germany, said Abdel Hakim el Sagheer, the director of the temple.

He said the number of tourists visiting the temple has increased, noting that some 250 Egyptians visited the temple within the same period.
