As many as 54 flights, carrying 5,164 tourists from different nationalities, arrived and took off from Sharm El Sheikh International Airport over the past 24 hours, a South Sinai official said.

Up to 12 international and 15 domestic flights 
arrived at Sharm el Sheikh airport, said Maj. Gen. Essam Khedr, the head of operations and crises department in South Sinai. 

Meanwhile, 14 domestic and 13 international flights left the airport, Khedr added.
