Around 5,800 tourists visited sites in Luxor on Saturday, said Director General of Luxor Antiquities Mustafa Waziri.

About 800 foreign tourists visited the city throughout the day against 5,000 Egyptians, Waziri added.

Earlier in the day, Culture Minister Helmi el Namnam inaugurated the 4th round of Luxor Egyptian and European Film Festival (LEEFF).
