Tunisian Djerba-Zarzis airport

Egypt's Ambassador in Tunis Ayman Mesharafa on Saturday said that about 6,000 Egyptians fleeing Libya returned home on board 22 flights.
The ambassador told MENA that an Egyptian consular committee works at the Tunisian Ras Jadir border crossing to facilitate evacuating Egyptians who want to leave Libya for home.
Following the killing of 21 Egyptians by Daesh terrorists, Egypt issued a travel ban on Libya and urged its citizens to leave the war-ravaged country as soon as possible.
President Abdel Fattah El Sisi has ordered to operate an airlift bridge for evacuating Egyptians via the Tunisian Djerba-Zarzis airport.
