Cairo International Airport

The authorities at Cairo International Airport allowed 65 Palestinians to travel to some Arab and foreign countries after opening Rafah border crossing between Egypt and the Gaza Strip since Friday.

Opening the crossing allows travel of Palestinians from and to the Palestinian enclave.

A security source in the airport said that the departure measures of the Palestinians were facilitated after they came from Rafah crossing amid tight security measures.

Sixty more Palestinians will be allowed soon to travel via Cairo Airport.

Rafah crossing was exceptionally opened Monday to allow the crossing of stranded Palestinians and humanitarian cases between Egypt and the Gaza Strip.
