Aswan received on Sunday around 692 tourists of various nationalities, according to Head of the Chamber of Tourist Companies in Aswan Khairi Mohamed, adding that the number is expected to increase near the Christmas holidays.

The hotel occupation rate in the governorate currently stands between 10 and 20 percent including Egyptian visitors, he said.
