Aden - MENA
Aden airport will resume its flights in less than a week, Yemeni Transport Minister Murad Al Halemi said on Monday.
He revealed a Yemeni-UAE plan to secure the airport.
In a statement, Al Halemi said that Yemen's President Abd Rabbu Mansour Hadi discussed with UAE officials during his recent visit to the UAE the issue of reopening and securing Aden international Airport.
The state news agency reported that the Yemeni president told officials that Aden Airport and Riyan Airport will be reopened during the coming few days.
Flights at Aden airport have been suspended since March over attacks launched by Houthi militants and forces loyal to former president Ali Saleh on Aden city.
