A fire broke out Wednesday evening on three floors at the Le Royal Hotel in Jordanian capital Amman. A Civil Defence statement says the blaze was caused by "sparks" emitted during maintenance work on the hotel's air-conditioning system, which set to a layer of insulation. The fire affected the 12th, 22nd and 26th floor of the building, moving through the ventilation shafts. Le Royal Hotel is yet to comment on the incident, but the Civil Defence report says no-one was hurt.
