The Egyptian Armed Forces announced that their elements found some parts of EgyptAir plane that vanished off radar at dawn Thursday with 66 persons on board.
In a statement on Friday, the Armed Forces said that personal belongings of passengers and parts of the plane's wreckage have been found some 290 kilometres north of Alexandria city.
Search operations will continue in the Mediterranean Sea, the statement added.
The plane was en route from Charles de Gaulle airport in Paris to Cairo International Airport.
