Cairo International Airport on Saturday received 70 Palestinian pilgrims en route to the Gaza Strip via Rafah border terminal.

An official source with the airport said that other cohorts of Palestinian pilgrims are expected to arrive at the airport on Sunday.

The Egyptian authorities had agreed to exceptionally open the crossing for three days to allow the Palestinian pilgrims to return home.
