Cairo airport authorities on Saturday denied access into the country of an American diplomat coming from Ethiopia for not obtaining a previous visa based on the principle of equal treatment.

Security sources at the airport said the American diplomat who arrived on board a plane coming from Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, was not allowed entry and was deported to Addis Ababa.
