Cairo-Alexandria railways movement returned to normal after a one-hour hiatus.
Earlier, train movement was suspended after a strange object was found near a railway track in Kafr el Zayat in Gharbiya governorate.
Security leaderships and bomb disposal teams rushed to the area and dismantled the object to find that it does not contain any explosives materials.
Security forces cordoned off the area and combed it to find any other expected bombs.
