Train movement along the Cairo-Alexandria railway line is back to normal after an explosive device went off on the tracks in a Damanhur village earlier on Friday.

No casualties were reported.

Sappers rushed to the scene and combed the area in search for any other explosive devices.

No other devices were found and train movement was restored.
