Kuwait's Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) announced that "a cargo plane belonging to one of the airlines companies operating at Kuwait International Airport (KIA) made an emergency landing after reporting sudden health issues with its captain," according to Kuwait News Agency (KUNA).

The pilot reportedly sustained an emergency health problem that resulted in his demise. The plane landed safely after all the applicable emergency and safety measures were taken.
