The Real Estate Investment Group, Diar Qatar, will carry on building of its five-star tourist project, worth 80 million dollars in Tozeur, Tunisian south, said Mr. Walid Mohamed Keldari, regional director of the project. During a meeting with the press held, on Thursday in Tunis, the official announced the imminent start of building works of the Saharan tourist complex which he described as the fruit of a \"strategic co-operation between the two countries.\" He said that the 40-hectare project meets the region\'s architectural and aesthetic peculiarities. It includes luxurious suites, restaurants and a mall, in addition to an Arab-style tent. He went on saying that the complex which attracts Arab tourists, from the Gulf countries, and foreign customers, will create a large number of jobs, notably in the engineering, construction and tourism sectors. The Tunisian State, Mr. Keldari specified, provided the necessary basic infrastructure, namely the connection to the networks of drinking water, electricity and communications. The tourist complex project, which was adopted in 2010 by the chamber of deputies (dissolved after the January 14, 2011) is located between the cities of Nefta and Tozeur. \"Diar Qatar\" Group is participating in 35 projects in more than 20 countries in the world.
