Egyptian authorities said Thursday that they will allow Hajj pilgrims from the Gaza Strip to travel via Cairo airport at the beginning of next October, the PA minister of endowments said. Religious affairs minister Mahmoud Habbash said that pilgrims from Gaza would travel through Rafah crossing at the beginning of next October. The Palestinian side agreed with the Egyptian side to allow Hajj pilgrims from the Gaza Strip to travel via Cairo airport on Oct. 2.
