Egypt warns nationals traveling to Gulf

The Egyptian Foreign Ministry warned on Wednesday nationals traveling to Gulf countries against carrying Tramadol pills.
Tramadol and its derivatives like Librax, Xanax and Alprazolam are considered drugs in Gulf countries, especially Saudi Arabia, Deputy Assistant Foreign Minister Ashraf Shiha said.
There is no excuse at all to bring in such medicines from Egypt, he said, warning that nationals held with such drugs will be tried and jailed or at least deported.
