Chairman of EgyptAir Holding Company Safwat Musallam on Wednesday denied news that the national company had requested help of an Italian and a French firm in the search for the two black boxes of Flight MS804, which crashed into the Mediterranean last week.

EgyptAir is not the party authorized to request help of foreign companies, he said, stressing that an investigation panel is looking into reasons behind the crash and search teams are looking for the black boxes.
