Egyptian national airline EgyptAir asserted on Thursday that flights are running normally at airports nationwide.

According to an official, the movement of arrival and departure was not affected by demands raised by 224 pilots.

In a statement, the flag carrier of Egypt denied disruption of flights at airports.

The Cairo International Airport received 55 flights while 58 others left the airport till 4:00 p.m, the statement said.

On Wednesday, about 224 EgyptAir pilots have threatened to resign after disputes with the company over salaries.
