EgyptAir assigned Thursday a new flight to take passengers of the flight no. 653 to their scheduled destinations hours after unplanned landing at Prince Mohammad bin Abdulaziz Airport in Medina due to technical issues.

Chairman of Egypt Air Airlines Hisham el Nahas expressed apology to the passengers over delay of the flight.

Earlier, the Riyadh-bound flight with 139 passengers on board made emergency landing following technical problems.

The passengers of the flight no. 653 were taken to a hotel until the replacement arrives.
