EgyptAir security system passes European Commission test

EgyptAir successfully passed the European Commission (EC) test of security, which guarantees the safety of goods and shipments movement.

Chairman of EgyptAir Hesham el Nahas said in a statement Thursday, the test was conducted by three experts from Netherlands, Belgium and Germany.

New notes were given on the measures adopted and the equipment used by the flag carrier airline of Egypt, Nahas added.

Earlier, the national carrier has succeeded in passing a test by the US Transportation Security Administration (TSA), head of security sector at EgyptAir Tareq Zaki said.
