EgyptAir chairman Hisham el Nahhas said the company will resume flights to the Saudi city of Abha Wednesday after a one-year hiatus.

In statements Tuesday, Nahhas said EgyptAir is keen on increasing its presence in the Gulf and the Far East regions.

Abha is the sixth destination of EgyptAir in Saudi Arabia after Jeddah, Madinah, Qassim, Riyadh and Dammam.
