Pope Tawadros II of Alexandria and Patriarch of St. Mark Diocese on Wednesday announced approval of the Egyptian Church to construct a road through St. Macarius Monastery in Wadi Al-Rayyan of Fayyoum governorate.
In a statement today, the pope slammed violations of "some impersonator monks" who objected the construction works of the road.
