Transport Minister Hany Dahi promised on Sunday President Abdel Fattah El Sisi to raise efficiency of the Egyptian railway network within a year as of today.

Sisi, for his part, urged Dahi to think outside the box to solve railway problems and increase metro projects in Egypt.

"This can lift the burden on the future generations ," he said.
