Middle East travelers now profit from additional appealing connections to Munich as of summer 2016. Since July, Lufthansa operates three weekly flights from Teheran to Munich by Airbus A330. Saudia introduced five weekly flights from Riyadh to Munich: Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays non-stop; Thursdays and Sundays via Jeddah. Kuwait Airways now connects Kuwait City with Munich also during the winter schedule every Monday, Thursday and Sunday.
