A European delegation inspected on Wednesday the security measures at Cairo International Airport, said Tareq Zaki, the head of the security sector at EgyptAir Company.

The team inspected measures taken to secure packages, goods, and shipment-related ports, mainly those head for Europe.

The delegation comprised three security experts from the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany, well-placed security sources said.

They met with senior officials at the airport over new security devices.
