Two hundred twenty five German tourists arrived in Luxor Thursday on board the first direct charter flight from Dusseldorf International Airport.

Public Relations Director at Luxor International Airport Bekhit Khairi Hassan said the plan for the tourists includes visits to a number of archaeological sites and tourist attractions in the governorate.

Three other flights are expected to land in Luxor from Germany's Munich, Frankfurt and Schoenefeld airports, he added.
