Hurghada International Airport

All flights were diverted to the new Terminal at Hurghada International Airport on Monday over bad weather, said director of the airport public relations department Hatem Kamel.

The move was taken to guarantee the safety of passengers.

Last year, a small part of the ceiling of the airport collapsed due to heavy rains.

As of Sunday, Egypt was hit by heavy rains accompanied by low temperatures and strong winds.

Wind is active on the Mediterranean and Red seas, disrupting navigation.
