A Flynas flight coming from Khartoum and heading for Syria made an emergency landing at Cairo International Airport over a technical failure, a source at the airport said on Thursday.

The airport authorities and civil protection forces have taken all preparations for the flight's landing.

Maintenance works are being carried out on the plane before resuming its journey, according to the airport's authorities.
