The first rail freight train

The first rail freight train linking China and Spain has arrived in Madrid on Tuesday, crossing the world's longest railway.
An official reception was held for the train, named Yixinou, which ended a journey that began last month from Yiwu area in the Chinese province of Zhejiang.
"This journey that connects the two countries is a historic achievements for the railway sector," Spanish Minister of Development Ana Pastor said in the reception.
"This is the new Silk Road," she said, which would boost Spain as a hub for the distribution of Chinese products, bolster investment and economic growth.
The 40-car Yixinou, which left Yiwu on November 18, is carrying Chistmas gifts.
The train crossed 13,000 kilometers and travelled through Kazakhstan, Russia, Belarus, Poland, Germany, France all the way to Spain.
The journey takes 21 days, nine days less than shipping by sea.
