German tourists travel to Sharm El Sheikh

German Foreign Ministry amended Tuesday the travel tips on travel to Sharm El Sheikh, but the warning is still in place for North Sinai.
The Embassy in Cairo said in a statement it is still strongly advised to avoid moving overland areas inside Sinai, including Dahab and Nuweiba areas, except for transfers to and from Sharm el-Sheikh airport.
Germany is one of the most important tourism markets for Egypt.
Germany issued a travel warning to its citizens for the Sinai Peninsula following the bombing of a tourist bus in Taba. Fifteen European countries followed Germany’s lead and took the same decision.
