Tourism Minister Yehia Rashed praised a decision to grant entry visas to those residing in Gulf states at Egypt's entry ports.
In statements on Thursday, Rashed said the decision would help increase the number of Arab tourists to Egypt.
The decision is applied to Arab Maghrib nationals who reside in any of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) counties, as well as those working for Gulf people from East Asia and some African countries, he noted.
Egypt's political leadership and government are keen on supporting the Egyptians tourism sector, he noted.
