Cairo - MENA
International Cooperation Minister Sahar Nasr returned to Cairo on Monday after taking part in a meeting of an initiative of the World Bank Group and the Islamic Development Bank, which was held in the Jordanian capital Amman, to discuss the refugee crisis.
The meeting was attended by 80 representatives for states and major financing institutions.
The initiative is aimed at drawing up a regional and international framework to contain the negative economic effects of the mounting refugee crisis in the region and providing support for the countries that host victims of regional conflicts in the Arab world.
