Tourism Minister Hisham Zaazou said on Thursday a flight that arrived at Sharm El Sheikh Airport today with 170 Italian tourists on board followed a series of talks with Rome to restore flights from the European country to the resort city.
"The flight shows that that traffic of Sharm ElSheikh-bound Italian flights has resumed after the crash of a Russian passenger plane," the minister told MENA in exclusive statements.
He noted that more than 75 of tourists visiting the resort city come from Europe.
"It's a positive message," he said.
