Luxor - MENA
Luxor International Airport on Saturday received the first Japanese flight after a months-long hiatus, Chairman of the Egyptian Airports Company Adel Mahgoub said.
The flight came from Osaka Airport with 230 passengers on board, he added.
Six Japanese flights will be operated, a flight per week, Mahgoub pointed out.
A state of high alert was announced to receive the Japanese tourists, he noted.
The Japanese flights to Luxor are regarded a wonderful step forward for regaining the influx of tourists in the ancient city, he noted.
