Luxor receives 2nd flight from Japan after hiatus

Luxor International Airport on Saturday received the second Japanese flight after a months-long hiatus, spokesman for the Egyptian Airports Company Emad Imam said.

The flight arrived with 185 passengers on board, he added.

A state of high alert was announced to receive the Japanese tourists, Imam noted.

Japan resumed flights to the Upper Egyptian city of Luxor last Saturday after a five-year suspension.
