Malaysians have been advised to avoid Thai areas which came under bomb attacks on Sunday, Bernama reported. The Malaysian consulate in Songkhla issued a travel advisory to Malaysians to stay away from Padang Besar, Sadao and Danok in southern Thailand which were rocked by explosions. First consulate officer Mohd Rozaimi Harun also advised Malaysians to avoid other areas along the Malaysia-Thailand border. The advisory told Malaysians to be wary of certain areas in Bangkok where anti-government protests are being held. The consulate also confirmed that no Malaysians were hurt in the blasts, as reported earlier. Rozaimi said initial reports claiming that two Malaysians were injured were untrue.
