Egypt's Minister of Archeology, Dr Ahmed Eissa, and Governor of Luxor Dr Ezzat Saad, inspected Luxor archaeological sites during a recent visit. The sites being inspected are recently discovered architecture. The two also inspected one of the oldest roads in Egypt, Al-Kibash, which is undergoing a large renovation process worth $11 million. The road is set to reopen around October. Saad affirmed the government's keenness to accelerate the renovation work on Al-Kibash road, suggesting plans to reopen it with an international celebration. The governor posed a detailed report to the minister following his tour, adding suggestions to turn Luxor into an open museum.
