Bangkok Airways has introduced its e-boarding pass via smart phones and is offering a bigger baggage allowance to encourage travellers to use the  service. Passengers who use e-boarding pass service, until 31 December, will get an extra baggage allowance of 10 kg. After check-in at www.bangkokair.com (24 to two hours before departure time for domestic flights only), passengers select QR Code service. The system will then send the QR code, which consists of flight information, itinerary and seat number to the passenger’s email. They show the QR code to the airport security check and also at the gate to board the aircraft, doing away with the need for a printed boarding pass.
